I provide mapping and consulting using the open source Grass-GIS package. This powerful, flexible package includes a vast array of powerful analytical tools. Integration with relational databases allows Grass-GIS to work with a huge range of external data sources. Because Grass-GIS works on Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms, I
can offer complete compatibility with customer's own platforms.

For customers who want to establish an in-house mapping capability, I can provide installation, configuration, and end-user training in Grass-GIS, as well as integrating Grass-GIS with the open source MySQL database server. This would be suitable, for example, for publications looking for re-usable maps without the huge overhead of commercial GIS packages.

Grass-GIS can export data to a host of formats, including MapInfo,
ESRI, and even Google Earth.
